Summer Internships

Tuesday, February 22, 2011 by Sabrina Ricci

Photo by Rdsmith4, courtesy of Wikimedia Commons Yesterday it was brought to my attention that I need to be on the lookout for summer internships. I know, it's only February, but some of my friends have already had interviews for jobs that won't start until May/June. But I'm torn. As someone with six internships under my belt, I feel like I'm ready for a real-world job. But … [Read more...] about Summer Internships

No Jaywalkers Today

Thursday, January 27, 2011 by Sabrina Ricci

Sleet, rain, hail, and snow--that was what every New Englander had to deal with last night. I woke up to 20 inches of snow on the ground, and it took me an hour and a half to get to work--half an hour just to get from my apartment to the PATH station. There was slush everywhere, and on my way home from work I accidentally stepped in many large puddles. But, I noticed hardly … [Read more...] about No Jaywalkers Today

Save Lives, Don’t Pick Up Trash

NYC … [Read more...] about Save Lives, Don’t Pick Up Trash

The first one was at 9 p.m., at Darling Harbor, and the second one was the famous midnight show. It lasted 12 minutes, and lit up all of Sydney. From our hotel room I saw four sets of fireworks go off, surrounding the Sydney Harbor … [Read more...] about New Year’s Eve Fireworks

Blurb

Monday, November 1, 2010 by Sabrina Ricci

Self-publishing books, once considered almost taboo, or at the very least desperate, has evolved into something fun, easy, and even professional. Blurb is a perfect example of this. Based in San Francisco, the company recently had a pop-up store in New York City. Located at 60 Mercer St. in Soho, the store was open from Oct. 21-31, and allowed customers to take part in … [Read more...] about Blurb
