Today is International Literacy Day. Grammarly (https://www.grammarly.com/plagiarism-checker) has made a helpful infographic that sheds light on the importance of literacy. According to Grammarly, 757 million adults age 15+ cannot read or write. UNESCO started the very first International Literacy Day on September 8, 1966, but there is still a ways to go.
