Thanksgiving is almost here, so I’m going to keep this post short and simple. One way indie authors can expand their market and increase their sales is to offer their books in multiple languages.
Here are two tools that can help you with translation:
- Babelcube: Use this site to find a translator. Instead of paying a fee, you split the royalty. Russell Phillips shares his experience using the service on Nonfiction Authors Association. And Jason Matthews breaks it down even more on How to Make, Market and Sell Ebooks.
- PressBooks: PressBooks is a platform built on WordPress that makes it very easy to create ebooks. But they also are available in 25 other languages. Learn more here.
Do you have any experience in translating your books? If so, please share in the comments! And Happy Thanksgiving!
